Part Time Client Service Representative
- Welcome clients and patients in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Assist with client and patient needs both in person and over the phone
- Answer multiple phone calls
- Help schedule appointments, procedures, and follow-ups
- Use of veterinary practice management software for scheduling and processing transactions
- Handling calls, scheduling, and transactions for both Colonial Manor Animal Hospital and Integrative Pet Care (separate computer systems and phone lines)
- Process invoices and monetary transactions accurately
- Perform End of Day and End of Month Reports
- Administrative duties such as copies, filing, faxing
Skills:
- Proficient computer skills and ability to learn veterinary practice management software (experience with EVetPractice a plus)
- Reliable
- Flexible hours in evenings and weekends
- Must be available for Saturday hours
- Organized and detailed oriented
- Works well with others and able to contribute to a collaborative environment
- Able to take instruction
- Customer Service experience preferred
- Comfortable working with the public and around various types of animals
- Ability to confidently and precisely multitask
- Excellent communication skills
Days off: Thursday and Sunday
Full Time Veterinary Technician
Applicants must be able to work nights and every weekend. We are looking for a someone who is self-motivated Experience is a plus Must provide professional references
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the veterinarian in exam rooms and use veterinary software for documenting medical notes
- Perform venipuncture for phlebotomy and catheter placement
- Obtain laboratory sample collection, process and possibly interpret results (fecal/parasite analysis, ear cytology, skin cytology, urinalysis, blood smears)
- Perform diagnostic imaging
- Perform anesthesia
- Prep patients for and assist in surgery
- Perform dental prophies
- Administer vaccines and medications (oral, topical, injectable)
- Fill prescriptions and review directions with clients
- Communicate with and educate clients
- Provide compassionate patient care
- Care for hospitalized and boarding patients
- Clean animal housing areas
- General hospital cleaning
- Laundry
Skills Needed:
- Ability to read and understand instructions
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members and clients
- Basic computer skills
- Able to learn basic medical terminology and properly document treatments as needed
Physical Obligations:
- Able to lift and carry at least 35lbs without assistance
- Able to stand and walk on hard surfaces for extended periods of time
- Able to take safety precautions for exposure of toxins, drugs, and radiation
Hours:
- Monday-Thursday: 12pm-7:30pm(close)
- Alternating Friday 8am-4pm & Saturday 8am-1pm
